This Privacy Policy explains how CashHelm (“CashHelm,” “we”, “us”, or “our”)
collects, processes, shares, discloses, sells, and protects personal information obtained
through the CashHelm website and related online services (the “Website”).
By accessing the Website and submitting information through our forms, you
acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree
with the practices outlined herein, please do not use our services.
1. Our Role as a Lead Generation Platform
We provide a lead generation service that facilitates connections between consumers
and third-party financial service providers.
We are not a lender, creditor, or financial institution, do not issue loans, and do not
make credit decisions. We collect user-submitted information, including sensitive
personal information, perform preliminary qualification and verification, and sell or
transfer qualified leads to participating partners. Those partners independently evaluate
applications and communicate directly with users. Once information is transferred to a
partner, that partner’s privacy policy governs its use.
2. Principles of Data Collection & Processing
We collect and process personal information in accordance with the following principles:
-
Transparency — We explain why and how personal information is collected and
used.
-
Purpose limitation — Information is used to facilitate lead processing and related
business operations.
-
Proportionality — We collect information relevant to financial lead qualification.
-
Security — We apply safeguards designed to protect personal information.
-
Accountability — We maintain internal processes to review privacy practices and
compliance.
3. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of personal information:
- A. Identifiers and Government-Issued Information
Name, date of birth, home address, email address, telephone numbers, Social
Security number, driver’s license information, IP address, approximate
geolocation, and persistent device identifiers (such as cookie or advertising
identifier).
- B. Financial and Banking Information
Income information, requested loan amount, bank account and routing details,
account characteristics (such as account type and tenure), and related financial
information relevant to evaluating financial applications.
- C. Employment and Housing Information
Employment status and history, employer information, pay schedule details,
housing status, and residence history.
- D. Eligibility and Demographic Information
Information relevant to eligibility for financial products, including military status
and similar disclosures.
- E. Internet and Usage Information
Website interaction data, cookies, device information (such as browser and
operating system information), and analytics data.
- F. Inferences
Preliminary qualification assessments and risk indicators generated through our
lead evaluation processes.
Certain information we collect - such as government identification numbers, financial
account information, and similar data - is considered ‘Sensitive Personal Information’
under applicable privacy laws.
We collect the information that users voluntarily provide through forms on the Website,
as well as certain information collected automatically through Website technologies
such as cookies and analytics tools. Some user-provided information may be verified or
supplemented through third-party verification and data enrichment providers. Depending
on the stage of the lead qualification process, limited or full information may be
transmitted to participating financial service partners.
4. How We Use, Sell, Share, and Disclose Personal Information
We use, sell, share, and disclose the collected personal information for the business
and commercial purposes described below.
4.1 How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- Process and route leads. We review the information submitted by you, conduct
preliminary qualification, and route leads to participating partners, such as
lenders, lender aggregators (marketplaces), service providers that offer
finance-related products and services, including debt relief, banking, credit
monitoring, and others.
-
Communicate with you. We respond to your inquiries, provide support, and -
where permitted by law - send marketing or promotional communications.
- Operate and improve the platform. We analyze usage trends, measure
performance, conduct research, and improve platform functionality and user
experience.
-
Support advertising and marketing. We measure advertising effectiveness and
optimize marketing activities, including through cookies and similar technologies.
-
Legal compliance and security. We use personal information to comply with
applicable laws and legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities,
enforce our agreements, protect our rights, and maintain the security and
integrity of our systems and services.
-
Corporate Transactions. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing,
restructuring, or sale of assets, personal information may be disclosed or
transferred as part of that transaction.
-
Aggregated or De-Identified Information. We may use or disclose aggregated or
de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify an individual for
analytics, research, or business purposes.
4.2 Sale of Personal Information, including Sensitive Personal Information
We sell all categories of personal information that we collect - including ‘Sensitive
Personal Information’ such as Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, and
bank account information - to lenders, lead aggregators, other partners offering financial
services (such as credit repair services, debt consolidation companies), and marketing
companies. This is how we generate revenue. Under certain state laws (for example,
California), these transfers constitute "sale of personal information."
YOUR EXPRESS CONSENT: By clicking "Get Started", “Continue”, or similar button,
you expressly consent to the sale of all your information, including Sensitive Personal
Information, and agree that: (a) this consent is voluntary; you are not required to use our
service, (b) we cannot provide your information to a participating partner, including
lenders or lead aggregators, if you opt out of sales, and (c) participating partners are
independent third parties and use the information they receive under their own privacy
policies.
You may opt out of future sales per Section 7, but we cannot recall information already
sold.
YOUR EXPRESS CONSENT FOR TELEMARKETING: By providing your telephone
number and clicking "Get Started", “Continue”, or similar button, you provide your
express written consent under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) for us
and participating partners who receive your information from us to contact you by
telephone or text message, including for marketing purposes. This consent includes:
- calls and text messages using automated telephone dialing systems or artificial
or prerecorded voices; and
- contact even if your telephone number is listed on a federal or state Do Not Call
registry.
This consent authorizes us and participating partners who purchase or receive your
information from us to contact you directly regarding their products or services. Your
consent is voluntary and is not required to purchase any goods or services.
You may revoke your consent at any time by contacting the company that is contacting
you or by using the opt-out methods described in 7. Standard message and data rates
may apply.
4.3 Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information
In addition to the described sales practices, we share personal information with the
following categories of recipients:
- Service Providers: We disclose personal information to service providers who
perform specific functions on our behalf under written contracts, including identity
verification, fraud prevention, cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, email and
SMS communications, and customer support systems. These providers are
contractually restricted from re-selling your information.
- Advertising Networks: We share online identifiers, device information, and
browsing behavior with advertising platforms to deliver targeted ads. Under
California law, this constitutes "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising,
and you can opt out as outlined in Section 7.
- Affiliates: We share information with our affiliated websites under common
ownership to streamline your experience and pre-populate forms if you've
previously used our services.
- Legal Disclosures: We disclose information when required by law, to comply with
legal process, or to protect our legal rights and security.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you have certain rights
regarding your personal information. These rights usually include the ability to:
- Access and Know
- access and know what personal information we collect, process, use, sell,
share, or disclose about you
- obtain the categories of sources, business purposes, and categories of
third parties involved in processing your personal information
- receive a portable copy of your personal information in a readily usable
format
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain
about you
- Delete: request deletion of personal information we have collected from you and
maintained, subject to certain legal exceptions
- Opt-Out Rights: you have the right to opt out of:
- The sale of your personal information to third parties
- The sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral
advertising or targeted advertising
- Profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly
significant effects concerning you
- Processing of your personal information for purposes of making decisions
using automated decision-making technology
- Universal Opt-Out: we recognize and honor universal opt-out preference
signals transmitted by your browser or device where required by
applicable law
- Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: limit our use and disclosure of
your Sensitive Personal Information to only what is necessary to perform
services reasonably expected or for specified permissible business purposes. We
will only process your Sensitive Personal Information with your prior express
consent where required by applicable law
- Appeal Decisions: appeal any decision we make regarding your privacy rights
request; if we deny your appeal, you have the right to contact your state attorney
general to submit a complaint
- Non-Discrimination: exercise any of your privacy rights without discriminatory
treatment, including denial of goods or services, different pricing, different quality
of service, or retaliation
6. How to Exercise Your Privacy Rights
You may submit privacy rights requests by:
- Email: contact@cashhelm.com
- Clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Website.
We will respond to verified requests within 45 days. We may require additional time and
will notify you of any extension. To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before
fulfilling requests. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your
behalf with proper written authorization.
Note the Limitations: Not all rights apply in all situations. We may decline requests
where permitted or required by law, including when requests are repetitive, excessive,
manifestly unfounded, technically infeasible, or would jeopardize security or legal
obligations. For detailed information about your state-specific privacy rights, please see
our state-specific privacy notices or contact us.
7. How to Opt-Out
7.1 Opting Out from the Sale or Sharing of Your Information
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. You
may opt out at any time by:
- Clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Website;
- Emailing contact@cashhelm.com with the subject line
“Opt-Out
Request”
We also honor browser-based Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by
law.
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe
link in our emails or contacting us directly.
To process your request, we may ask for limited information necessary to identify your
record, such as your email address or phone number. We will process opt-out requests
as soon as reasonably practicable and no later than 15 business days after receipt.
Consequences of Opting Out
If you opt out, we will stop transferring (for compensation or otherwise) your personal
information to participating partners on a going-forward basis. Because our function is to
generate and transfer leads to participating partners, opting out means we will not be
able to process your submission or transfer your information to such partners.
Opting out does not recall or delete personal information that was previously transferred
to third parties. Companies that already received your information may continue to use it
in accordance with their own privacy policies. To stop their communications or exercise
your rights with them, you must contact those companies directly.
7.2. How to Stop Telemarketing Calls and Texts
Stopping calls and texts is separate from opting out of information sales.
To stop communications from a specific company, contact that company directly and request placement on
its
internal do-not-contact list.
To stop communications sent directly by us:
- Click the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our Website; or
- Email us at contact@cashhelm.com with the subject line
“Opt-Out Request.”
Opting out of sales prevents new companies from obtaining your information but does
not stop companies that already have your information from contacting you. To fully stop
communications, you must both opt out of future sales and contact existing callers
directly.
Opting out does not recall information already sold or require third parties to stop using
information they previously received. You must contact those parties directly to exercise
your rights with them.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies re not just baked goods, they are also tracking technologies we use to enhance
your experience on our Website, analyze usage patterns, and deliver personalized
advertisements.
- Essential Cookies: required for website functionality, including session
management, security features, and form submission.
- Analytics Cookies: help us understand how visitors interact with our Website
(e.g., Google Analytics).
- Marketing Cookies: used to deliver personalized advertisements and track
campaign effectiveness across websites and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta
Pixel, TikTok Pixel).
- Third-Party Tracking: we allow third-party advertising networks and analytics
providers to place tracking technologies on our Website. These third parties may
track your activity across multiple websites for targeted advertising purposes.
Under California law, this constitutes "sharing" of personal information.
Your Choices with respect to these tracking technologies are:
-
Opt-out of sale/sharing as provided in 7.1 above
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC browser signals as valid opt-out
requests
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies
- Industry opt-out tools: Visit NAI (networkadvertising.org/choices) or DAA
(optout.aboutads.info) Note: Disabling essential cookies may impact Website
functionality and prevent you from submitting loan requests.
9. Data Retention & Destruction
We keep personal information only as long as needed to operate our lead generation
business, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce our
agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose for
which it was collected. For example, we retain lead submission and transaction records
to maintain audit and compliance documentation; contact information to support
follow-up, fraud prevention, and customer inquiries; and analytics data to improve
website performance. Highly sensitive identifiers, such as Social Security and bank
account information, are retained only as long as necessary to complete lead
processing and are then securely deleted, redacted, or tokenized. When personal
information is no longer needed for these purposes, we securely delete or de-identify it.
10. Security Measures
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect
personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and
destruction. These safeguards include, among other measures:
- encryption of personal information in transit and, where appropriate, at rest;
- access controls that restrict personal information to authorized personnel with a
legitimate business need;
- multi-factor authentication and logging for sensitive system access;
- network and application security protections, including vulnerability management
and security testing;
- data minimization, retention, and secure disposal practices; and
- due diligence and contractual safeguards for service providers that process
personal information on our behalf.
Note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is
completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s Privacy
Age Restriction: our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We
do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If you
are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with
personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
12. Governance and Accountability
We maintain internal policies and procedures designed to support privacy compliance.
We periodically review and update our privacy practices in response to legal,
operational, and regulatory developments. You may contact us with privacy concerns
using the information below.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

date and post changes on the Website. Continued use of the Website constitutes
acceptance of the revised policy.
